Chef Chloe

Chef Chloe Shaffer, originally from Pennsylvania, USA, has seamlessly blended her love of adventure and culinary artistry into a thriving career in the yachting industry. Since beginning her journey on the seas at the age of 19, Chloe has embraced scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, and mountain climbing, pursuits that reflect her zest for exploration and passion for the outdoors.

Chloe's culinary foundation was strengthened through a rigorous 650-hour program at the New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute (NOCHI), where she honed her skills in fine dining and international cuisine. Her time working in New Orleans restaurants further refined her expertise, particularly in Cajun and globally inspired flavors. She describes her culinary style as seasonal, international, and health-conscious, often incorporating Middle Eastern and Asian fusion elements into her dishes.

Currently serving as the sole cook/stewardess aboard SY Azzura, a 96-foot yacht, Chloe has spent nearly two years delighting both owners and crew with her versatile and creative dishes. Her commitment to balance and nutrition extends beyond the kitchen, as she is actively pursuing certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) to further enhance her ability to craft holistic and wholesome meals.

Chloe's culinary repertoire, combined with her positive attitude, adaptability, and dedication to detail, makes her an invaluable asset to any yacht crew. Her qualifications include STCW 2010, PADI Open Water Diver certification, and extensive experience in food safety and service, underscoring her readiness for new challenges in the luxury yachting sector.
