Start Your Charter in the USVI
Night 1: Maho Bay, USVI
After picking up the guests in Yacht Haven Grande, Saint Thomas, the Yacht will relocate to Maho Bay. This passage takes about 2.5hrs.
Depending on the arrival time the guest may have the option to take a taxi to the Windmill Bar and experience the sun set over the Virgin Islands.
Again, depending on the arrival time, but Maho Bay is known for turtles and stingrays which provides for an exceptional snorkeling experience.
Dinner will be served on board.
Night 2: Norman island, BVI
Before breakfast the Yacht will relocate to West End, BVI where the captain will complete the customs and immigration clearance.
After breakfast, the captain should be done, and the Yacht will relocate to Norman Island. This can take about 60-90mins depending on the prevailing weather conditions.
Norman Island has two amazing out and back hikes that is easy to moderately difficult for anyone who seeks activity and adventure.
There are two must-see snorkeling locations: the cave and the Indians
That evening guests would have the opportunity to visit the Pirates Bight Bar and Restaurant and if anyone is in the mood for a party, Willy T’s cannot disappoint.
Night 3: Virgin Gorda, BVI
After breakfast, the yacht will relocate to Virgin Gorda and Achor off Valley Trunk Bay. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the BVI’s with spectacular snorkeling grounds - '“the aquarium” being one of these spots.
After a morning of swimming, snorkeling and beachcombing, guests will have lunch on board.
Around midafternoon the captain will take guests to the virgin Gorda Baths and there is a bar on the beach to have a cocktail after walking through the trail. If the guests are interested, there is the Top of the Baths Restaurant & Bar which offers an amazing sunset view.
That evening they guests will have the option of dining at CocoMaya | Beach Restaurant. They have a great selction of Asian Fusion Food and a lovely bar all on the beach. Live music makes for a great party if you decide to stay out a bit later.After breakfast, the Yacht will sail over to the North Sound which normally takes around 90mins.
The North Sound has a lot to offer, from the Gumption tour on Necker Island experiencing the lemurs and flamingoes to the fabulous restaurants that Oil Nut Bay, Saba Rock and the Bitter End Yacht Club has to offer.
This makes for an eventful day hoping from one bar to the next. An amazing sunset view can be experienced from the upstairs bar area at Saba Rock.
Guest would have various options to dine ashore on this day. on this day.
Night 4: North Sound, BVI
First thing in the morning the captain will relocate the Yacht to the Dog Islands where breakfast will be served. This is a very secluded group of small islands.
After breakfast, embark on a 90min sail to Anegada. Here guest will have the opportunity to rent a vehicle or scooters and tour the island. The island has may interesting things to experience such as viewpoints of Conch Islands, Flamingoes, the Anegada Beach Club that is a great restaurant for lunch or dinner and the famous Cow Wreck Bar.
If there is a time and place to have Anegada lobster, this is it: On the foreshore there are many local restaurants of which the Lobster Trap and Potter’s by the Sea come highly recommended.
Night 5: Peter Island, BVI
The next morning, the Yacht will relocate to Long Bay for breakfast which is a great location for watersports and snorkeling a reef. If they guests would like to experience a lunch ashore, Sugarcane is a great option provided everyone is happy with a beach landing and a short hike up a hill.
After lunch the Yacht will continue sailing West and make a stop and Cooper Island to experience the Rum Bar.
After the Rum Bar a 30min sail to Peter Island where the Yacht will anchor in for the evening or could moor inside the marina at Peter Island Resort if they guests would like to have dinner on ashore.
Night 6: Jost Van Dyck, BVI
The next morning, the Yacht will relocate to Jost Van Dyck.
Here the guests can expect to spend the day on the beach at White Bay and visit the famous Soggy Dollar Bar where the Painkiller Cocktail was first made.
That evening the guests would have the opportunity to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar. This place can be very eventful between snail races to incredible New Year’s Eve parties.
Night 7: Christmas Cove, USVI
The next morning, the Captain will clear the Yacht out of the BVI and sail to the USVI after breakfast.
Upon arrival in Caneel Bay, guests need to tender ashore to clear customs and immigration.
Thereafter the Yacht can either remain in Caneel Bay, which would provide for a great beach day or relocate to Christmas Cove where the guests would have the opportunity to eat a thin-crust NY-style pizza made on the Pizza Pi Boat.
Christmas Cove offers some of the best snorkeling available in the USVI.
Charter End Day:
The Next morning the Yacht will sail back to Yacht Haven Grande in Saint Thomas to drop the guests off. This passage takes about 60mins.
